SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The new Senior Lifetime Hunting, Trapping and Fishing License, which becomes effective Jan. 1, 2012, is now available for purchase, according to DNR Director Frank Jezioro.

For the past month and a half we've been showing our appreciation for the hunt with our Brag About Your Bag photo gallery. One of the photos we've received is of 11-year-old Joshua Moorman, who shot his first deer, an 8-point basket buck, with a crossbow on Oct. 17.

At the end of six weeks of archery season, which opened Sept. 24, 2011, Licking County held the lead for kill numbers with 1,836 deer tagged.
