With the interim federal hemp program regulations published, states are reviewing the national rules and preparing to submit state hemp production plans.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture officially announced the launch of federal hemp program, with the release of the program’s first draft of regulations.

Rodale Institute started a new industrial hemp research project focused on examining the crop's role in soil health and regenerative organic agriculture.

The first hemp conference in the U.S. to bring together industry professionals, scientists and policymakers will be Sept. 8-11 at the Lexington Center.

The meeting will include an update on organic hemp production and presentations on nutrient balancing, crop production and alternative forage production.
