- Topping:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°. Place biscuit mix, wheat flour, light brown sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Stir together using wooden spoon; mash out all sugar lumps. Add raisins, nuts and enough water to form soft dough. Knead dough briefly on floured surface. Roll dough into 8 x 11 inch rectangle on floured surface.
Top dough with 1 tablespoon butter, cut into slivers. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons brown sugar and desired amount of cinnamon. Roll dough up from long side. Slice into 1-inch pieces using serrated knife.
Prepare pan. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in 8 inch cake pan. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon brown sugar in pan over butter. Gently place slices cut-side down in pan. Bake in preheated oven 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and immediately flip pan onto serving platter. Scrape any remaining topping from pan and pat on rolls. Makes 8 to 10 rolls.
