Ingredients
- 3/4 sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1 cup walnut halves
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup hazel nuts
Directions
Combine sugar, salt and spices; stir in egg white and 2 1/2 tablespoons water. Add nuts, half a cup at a time; stir with fork until coated. Lift out draining off excess syrup. Place, separated, on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275° 45 minutes or until golden and crusty. Store tightly covered.
