Ingredients
- 1 1/2 s brown sugar
- 1/2 shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 milk with 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 s flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 s raw rhubarb, chopped fine
- Topping:
- 1/2 sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, milk, baking soda, flour and salt; mix well. Stir in rhubarb. Pour batter into greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350° 45 minutes.
