Ingredients
- 5 medium Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- vegetable cooking spray
- 1/2 unsalted matzo meal
- 1/3 sugar
- 1/4 sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions
Peel, core and cut apples into 1/4-inch slices. Combine apple slices, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice; toss gently. Spoon into 11×17-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray; set aside. Combine matzo meal, sugar, almonds, margarine and salt; stir well. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 350° 1 hour or until browned.
