Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 2/3 s oatmeal (old fashioned)
- 2/3 raisins
- 1/4 chopped nuts
- 1/2 maple syrup
- 1/4 molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
Combine first four ingredients. Cook until oatmeal is done. Add remainder; simmer about four minutes. For a special treat, serve with a little scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
