Ingredients
- 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lemon gelatin
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
- Add to gelatin:
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 cups ginger ale or lemon-lime carbonated beverage
- Let stand until partially set and then add:
- 2 large bananas, sliced
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Put in 8×14 pan. Let set.
- Topping:
- 1/2 sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- Cook until thick; Add:
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cook until thick; cool. Add:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pint whipped topping
Directions
Spread topping over gelatin.
