Ingredients
- 1 1/2 s buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 s seedless raisins
- 3 s all-purpose flour
- 2/3 s sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
In medium sized bowl, combine buttermilk, butter, egg and raisins; set aside. In large bowl combine dry ingredients. With two forks, toss together dry ingredients about 1 minutes. Add buttermilk mixture and mix until combined. Spoon into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350° 50 to 55 minutes. Leave in pan 1 minute. Remove to wire rack to cool.
