Ingredients
- 1 cider vinegar
- 1 sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Heat vinegar and sugar until hot, doesn’t need to boil. Mix half the water with cornstarch. Beat eggs. Add cornstarch mixture and remaining water. Pour hot vinegar slowly into beaten eggs. Return to burner and bring to boil, stirring frequently so it won’t burn; may need to reduce heat.
