Ingredients
- 1 medium head of fresh cauliflower
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- dash pepper
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- bread crumbs
Directions
Remove outer leaves and stalk of cauliflower and break into florets. Wash thoroughly. Steam or microwave (or cook in small amount of water) until tender, but still crisp; drain.
In small bowl, combine eggs, parsley, garlic salt and pepper.
Dip cauliflower pieces in egg mixture, then coat with bread crumbs.
In large skillet, fry cauliflower in oil (in 2 or 3 batches) over medium heat until nicely browned. Drain on paper toweling and sprinkle with salt.
Place on heat-proof platter in low oven and keep warm while frying remaining pieces. Add little more oil to skillet if necessary.
Air Fryer Instructions: Preheat air fryer to 370°. Once preheated, placed batter cauliflower into the basket, working in batches with space between each floret in a single layer. Cook for 9-12 minutes depending on your air fryer.
