Ingredients
- 1/2 margarine
- 1/2 shortening
- 3/4 granulated sugar
- 3/4 brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1/2 s all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups fresh or dry-pack frozen
- blueberries
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 chopped nuts
Directions
Cream margarine, shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together (except for the 2 tablespoons flour) and beat into creamed mixture. Toss blueberries with the 2 tablespoons flour and fold them and nuts into the batter gently. Spoon onto ungreased baking sheets and bake at 375° for about 12 minutes. Yield about 5 dozen. (3/4 cup honey may be substituted for the 1 1/2 cups brown and granulated sugars)
