Banana Split Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 bananas
  • 1 chopped nuts
  • 1/2 gallon Neapolitan ice cream
  • 1 chocolate chips
  • 2 s graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 butter
  • 2 s powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pint whipped cream

Directions

Cover bottom of 11×15-inch pan with 1 cup graham cracker crumbs; save remaining cup of crumbs. Slice bananas; layer over crumbs. Slice ice cream 1/2-inch thick, layer over bananas, sprinkle ice cream with nuts. Freeze until firm. Melt chocolate chips with 1/2 cup butter. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk; cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Add vanilla to mixture and cool. After chocolate mixture is cooled, get ice cream mixture from freezer and layer chocolate mixture over it. Spread whipped cream over chocolate and top with remaining graham cracker crumbs. Store in freezer.
