Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir garlic until lightly browned. Mix in green beans and water, and bring to boil. Stir in allspice, salt, and pepper. Cover, and simmer 20 minutes, until green beans are soft.
A great side to any meal.
