COLUMBUS – Thanksgiving marks the season opener of the Ohio Scott Antique Market that runs monthly November through June.
This show has become a tradition among the Midwest antiquers and the numerous shoppers who browse this show looking for treasures.
Visitors will find furniture from secretaries to old Victorian day beds. There is also toys, antique jewelry as well as glassware, porcelain, pottery and even ornamental wrought iron. There is also lots of old hardware to fix those broken family heirlooms. Vintage clothing may also be available. Music memorabilia, from old records to vintage jukeboxes, may find their way to the Scott Market.
The Scott Show also offers a variety of food and snacks. There will be 1,600 booths. The show also offers a shuttle bus to transport shoppers between the four buildings. The admission price is free and parking is $4.
The Scott Antique Market is located at the Ohio Expo Center on Interstate 71 at exit 111, 17th venue. The Scott Antique Market has a sister show that runs the second weekend of every month in Atlanta.
