SALEM, Ohio – Flowers for growing and flowers for giving will spring forth at the all new Salem City Flower Market May 3.
The flower market, located at the site of the Salem City Farmer’s Market on the corner of State Street and Ellsworth Avenue, will feature locally grown annuals, perennials and herbs in flats, hanging baskets and fresh cut bouquets.
Wrought iron and wood yard and garden accessories, baked goods, and hand crafted specialty items will also be offered.
The spring flower market, a precursor of the Salem City Farmer’s Market, will be open every Saturday through May from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Farm market. The official re-opening of the Salem City Farmer’s Market is June 7.
The Farmer’s market is entering its third year.
