The Winchell family farm, the last dairy farm in the Garrettsville area, is also included. The family milks 45 head of Holstein and Brown Swiss cattle and raise crops. You can also plan to visit the retail greenhouse at the farm.
Eagle Creek Growers is a featured tour stop. The operation includes both wholesale and retail greenhouse businesses, where you will see thousands of mums and poinsettias ready for the fall and winter seasons.
Also plan to visit Goodell Farms, where you will be able to satisfy your sweet tooth with the family’s homemade maple candy and other maple syrup products. The farm, which also includes a dairy herd and fresh potato operation, is one of the oldest family farms in the Mantua area.
