FREDONIA, Pa. – The borough of Fredonia , Pa., will have its 9th annual “Pass It On Day” May 5, starting at 9 a.m.
The community event centers around 70-plus yard and garage sales, and is designed to provide fund-raising opportunities for area nonprofit organizations. Somewhere around 3,000 people are expected to attend.
Special events will include a Mercer County Antique Power Association Show in North Park, a Little League Benefit Auction starting at noon in the Fire Hall, an Amish community market, blood pressure and blood sugar screening by the Eastern Medical Ambulance Service in the Park Gazebo, and a Greystone Estates quilt show and craft fair.
The Fredonia Lions Club will also be holding a chicken barbecue, and a food court will be established by the Reynolds band and Stoney Point and Mercer County granges.
Yard sale maps will be available at all food stands and restaurants.
