CANTON, Ohio – The National Watermedia Exhibition 2001, presented by the Ohio Watercolor Society, will open at the Canton Museum of Art April 27.
The exhibition will run through June 8. It features the work of over 80 artists from around the nation.
In order to expand educational opportunities of both the viewing public and Ohio artists, the Ohio Watercolor Society is sponsoring its first national juried watermedia exhibition hosted by the Canton Museum of Art.
This exhibition will present a new visual appreciation and recognition of the progress of watermedia on a national level.
An opening reception will be held in the museum lobby April 27 from 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Admission to the museum is $4 for adults, $2.50 for seniors and students over 10.
