Locals to compete for state awards

CANFIELD, Ohio – A Mahoning County couple is a semifinalist for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmers Award.
Howard and Tricia Withers, Petersburg, were selected as one of four semifinalists.
The winner will be announced at the Ohio Farm Bureau annual meeting Nov. 30 in Columbus, and will receive $500 from Dodge and represent the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation at the American Farm Bureau annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, in early January.
