MILLERSBURG, Ohio – The Holmes Soil and Water Conservation District recently received a grant from the Division of Wildlife and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to provide financial assistance to landowners in the Killbuck Creek watershed, with priority to those adjacent to Doughty Creek.
Mussel protection. The grant provides funding to install conservation practices that will improve water quality to benefit the endangered Purple Catspaw Pearly Mussel.
