BURTON, Ohio – The Geauga County Historical Society is steeping up excitement by hosting the fourth annual afternoon Edwardian Tea on the grounds of Century Village Museum.
The event is May 3 at 1:30 p.m.
Features. Visitors will stroll along the path that leads to 1846 Century Village Church for an informative program featuring women in history.
In keeping with Ohio’s bicentennial, Ohio’s first ladies will be celebrated through a dramatic characterization.
Following the presentation, an elegant high tea will be served in the Hickox Brick, Boughton, Law, Hitchcock, and Cook houses.
Tea sandwiches, scones, and lemon curd will be served. China and linen napkins will add the perfect touch to this formal afternoon tea.

The cost is $25 for members, and $30 for nonmembers. Spaces are limited.
Reservation deadline is April 25.
