Following their calling

Kylee Hostetter of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Dave Conley of York, Pa., were selected as Rookie of the Year and Champion Bid Caller, respectively, at the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Championships Jan. 10 at the 2007 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. Hostetter began calling seven years ago. She calls for a weekly auto auction. Conley has competed in the event about 10 times and will go on to compete in the National Bid-Calling Contest later this year. He is a fulltime auctioneer with Rentzel’s Auction Service in York County.
