JEFFERSON, Ohio – The 2001 Family-A-Fair is coming May 5 at Kent State University’s Ashtabula Campus.
The schedule of events includes Ashtabula County’s own version of Family Feud at 10:30 a.m.
Surveys will be conducted by area radio stations during the next few weeks to record Ashtabula County’s answers to questions such as “name something you tune”, “name something you put on a hamburger” or “name something you see on a movie screen before a movie.”
Local magician Jim Hathy will perform his brand of magic 11:30 a.m.
Finishing up the day in the auditorium at 1 p.m. will be storytellers “Scribbles & Giggles – Partners in Rhyme.”
Scribbles & Giggles are preschool teachers Tammy Johnson and Judy White. They will be telling stories and performing magic.
“COSI on Wheels” (the Center of Science and Industry) will be back 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They’ll be bringing their “What’s Wild” exhibit offering hands-on activities that explore animal habitats and the technology involved in studying wildlife.
