BURBANK, Ohio – Auctioneer Richard Estes, owner of Estes Auctions in Medina, Ohio, conducted a sale for the estate of the late Dr. Ralph Thorn of Long Island, N.Y., on May 18 at the Expo Auction Center in Burbank, Ohio.

Marconi 106-B for $26,000; Marconi 106-C for $22,000; Grebe CR-10 at $17,000; Adams Morgan 2-5-U for $5,700; Wireless Specialty 1P-501 for $22,000; Wireless Specialty 1P-500 for $11,000; Westinghouse Rebroadcast for $5,000;
Radiola VII for $3,300; Radiola Special for $3,300; Nesco CN-240 for $7,500; Kennedy III for $3,200; Grebe CR-2 for $4,700; Doolittle 6 Tube for $3,700; Grebe Book for $3,300; and a DeForest OT3 for $5,500.
This was the third highest total for a radio auction worldwide.
