LEXINGTON, Ill. – The Fellowship of Christian Farmers invites farmers for short-term work mission opportunities in 2001 to Mexico, Albania, India and Romania. All participants must complete an application form.

* Mexico: Cost will be $425 each. Team members must get to San Antonio, Texas, on their own for departure. No passport is required, but you must have a county-issued birth certificate.
Anticipate doing traditional work activities. Last year, 90 people went on this work mission.
Dates for Mexico in 2001 are Jan. 5-14, Jan. 20-28, Feb. 2-11 and Feb. 16-25.
* Albania: Cost will be $700 each, plus airfare. Trips are coordinated by FCF members Julie and George Holmes, 3220 Jacksonville Road, Trumansburg, NY 14886. Their phone number is 607-387-6538.
If you desire to go to Albania, contact the Holmes directly. Teams will travel to villages to share seeds and make new friends. A passport is required, but not a visa. Expect to pay a tax of $45 as a United States citizen to enter the country.
Trips to Albania are scheduled for Jan. 16-30, Jan. 30-Feb. 13 and Feb. 13-27.
* India: John Freshour will lead a team Jan. 29-Feb. 13 to Kochi, India. The team will be working with New Life for Asia based in Danville, Ill.
Members of the work mission will help build a New Life school in the state of Tamilnadu.
The team will also visit New Life churches to share the Gospel and to meet the people. The cost for the trip will be $2,500, which includes $500 toward construction material costs.

* Romania: Mission trips are scheduled for the Caminul Felix Dairy Project, Oradea, Romania, headed by Sue and Clark Phillips.
This mission focuses on providing homes, nutrition and education for orphans through a dairy herd and a farm project. A passport is required, but not a visa.
Cost will be $1,200. FCF will set up travel arrangements.
