Alexandria Householder raised the 2016 Carroll County grand champion carcass lamb. With a carcass weight of 72 pounds, it sold for $13 a pound to Paris and Washington Insurance, represented by Hunter Palmer.

The grand champion carcass steer was raised by Bailey McKarns. With a hanging weight of 910 pounds, it sold for $4.50 a pound to Scott Cole, representing Heubner Chevrolet.

The 2016 Carroll County grand champion market hog was raised by Gillian Griffith. The hog, weighing 274 pounds, was sold for $26 a pound to Jim Griffith and Landon Bagozzi, of Griffith and Sons Trucking; Jami Irwin, Jim, Sara and Alli Reynolds of Jimmy’s Backyard BBQ; and Sarah Grubbs of Consumers National Bank. The 2016 Carroll County grand champion steer was raised by Joseph Moody. The steer, weighing 1289 pounds, sold for $11.50 a pound to Pat Moody, of All American Scales; Will Evans, of Unkefer Equipment; and Dr. John Walters.

The reserve champion carcass hog was raised by Olivia Moody. With a carcass weight of 211 pounds, it sold for $16.50 to Paul Robertson of Robertson’s Supply.

Dustin Ulman produced the 2016 Carroll County reserve champion carcass lamb. With a carcass weight of 67 pounds, it sold for $12.75 a pound to Jim Myers for Myers Tin Shop.

Paul Leslie raised the 2016 Carroll County reserve champion carcass steer. With a carcass weight of 633 pounds, it sold for $5 a pound to Don’s Custom Meats, represented by Don Pontones and Kara Pontius.

Lynden Ferguson raised the 2016 Carroll County reserve champion dairy beef feeder. Weighing 653 pounds, the calf sold for $2 a pound to Chuck and Steve Parker, representing Parker Farms.
