ACCD is excited to offer an Individual Nutrient Management Certification training and exam. This certification entitles people to develop a Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) for their own farms or equine facilities. While NMPs are only required for high-density concentrated animal operations, low-density agricultural operations may voluntarily obtain an NMP to obtain limited liability protection, find out fertilizer value of your manure, achieve compliance with State regulations and open doors for potential financial assistance. Getting this certification eliminates the cost of hiring a consultant to write your plan.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. The cost to attend is $30.00 and includes lunch. Register online.
Taking the exam is also required and will take place November 17th at 11:30.
Once training and exam are completed, apply for final certification with an application fee of $15.00.
