Derby Day

Derby Day, “The Greatest 2 Minutes in Sports History” to benefit Buckeye Horse Park, Canfield, OH. Buckeye Horse Park is a non-profit corporation established in 1992. The primary objectives are to organize and provide the facilities to support the education, training, meetings, clinics, and competitive activities of various youth and adult horse related organizations in the Youngstown and northeastern Ohio area, located 3 miles west of Canfield on Route 224. There are two outdoor arenas, 74 stalls, a pavilion, storage building and all-purpose building. The Derby Day proceeds are to be used for an indoor arena. Currently, the park offers free riding meetings to 4-H, pony club, and other horse related organizations. There are horse shows or clinics scheduled most weekends from May through September. Our goal is to construct an indoor arena for all year round use. Up-to-date information can be found on our website: www.buckeyehorsepark.org. Derby Day is by reservation only, but all are invited. Come join us for a fun evening of dinner, mint juleps, fun derby games and of course watching the Kentucky Derby on a big screen.
