Editor:
I am writing in regard to the OSU Extension visioning program article (“Visions of future…” Jan. 18, 2001). To allow a spokesperson from the Noble County Farm Bureau to state there were several “special interest groups” at these meetings that were against agriculture is totally false.
This type of statement is nothing more than a slam. It widens the gap between the residents of Noble County and what they would like to see here in the next 50 years. Farm Bureau and others will have to answer to these kind of remarks.
What is the real purpose of having the visioning program? Is it for real, or is it a joke?
