Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, defrosted
- As needed garlic butter or pizza sauce
- As needed shredded mozzarella cheese
- As needed tomato slices and/or favorite toppings
- As needed Italian seasoning
- As needed Basil leaf
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to create mini pizza bases. Aim for a thickness of approximately 1/4 inch. You can use a round cutter or shape of your choice to cut the pastry into smaller portions. Place the puff pastry bases on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top with garlic butter or a tablespoon of sauce, spreading it evenly with the back of a spoon, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Add your toppings on top and bake the puff pastry bases in the preheated oven for approximately 12 to 15 minutes or until they are golden and puffed up.
- Once the puff pastry pizzas are done, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and top with basil leaf.
- Allow the mini puff pastry pizzas to cool for a few minutes before serving.
