Ingredients
- 1 1/2 s regular rolled oats
- 1/2 apple, shredded and unpeeled
- 1/4 wheat germ, toasted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Directions
In medium bowl combine rolled oats, apple and wheat germ; set aside. In small saucepan combine honey, water and ground cinnamon. Heat to boiling; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over oat mixture, tossing to coat. Spray 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spread oat mixture in pan. Bake in 325° oven about 45 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Spread onto foil to cool. Store granola in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 wheels.
