NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – Tuscarawas Soil and Water Conservation District recently appointed Tom Graham, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, as the coordinator of Huff Run Watershed.
As coordinator, Graham will work with the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership, a local citizens group, in restoring and protecting the water resource through planning, education and implementation of the watershed plan.
Graham earned a degree in chemistry from the University of Florida. His most recent position was with the University of Florida Citrus Research and Education Center and involved the largest reclaimed water project in Florida.
The Huff Run Watershed includes 14.1 square miles in the Mineral City area.
Graham replaces Kimberly Arbaugh, former Huff Run Watershed coordinator, who recently assumed the director duties at Norma Johnson Center.
