Last year you told us stories of romance, pranks, family bonding and missteps. What will you come up with this year?
Since we know you still have countless fair memories to share with us, we’re again inviting readers to send us their favorite county fair stories and pictures.
This is a look at the past so be sure your pictures are at least 10 years old (include an approximate date) and identify everyone in the photo. If you want your picture returned, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Please get your memories and pictures to us by June 20 .
We’re planning to split your entries into two groups, those relating to fairs before August and those afterward. Then we’ll print them in one of our special county fair supplements being published June 30 and Aug. 18. Be sure to include the name of your fair so we can place it in the right issue.
For all entries, include your name, hometown and phone number for verification.
