COLUMBUS – Look for one of the largest indoor power equipment shows in the country to continue its tradition of bringing together visitors and displays of the latest developments in power equipment industry.
Power Show Ohio opens Jan. 30 for three consecutive days.
The show returns to the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect and find at this year’s show:
Admission. Gates open at 9 a.m. each morning and close at 4 p.m. each evening.
Free tickets are available from equipment dealers that are members of the Ohio-Michigan Equipment Dealers Association. They’re also available at the Farm and Dairy office in Salem, Ohio.
Cost at the door is $5 for those arriving without a ticket; youth 12 and under are admitted free.
Exhibits. Approximately 270 exhibitors are located in four buildings. More than 600 companies are represented.
Power Show Ohio gives visitors the unique opportunity to experience the latest in equipment technology – all in one place, all at once.
Visitors can talk with the manufacturers and their representatives of the products and services on display. They can see the actual products and equipment.
You’ll find tractors, skid steer loaders, commercial mowing equipment, grain handling, computer software, fence building, haying equipment, buildings, backhoes, compact tractors and livestock equipment.
Educational seminars. The Ohio State University’s Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering Department will have a full slate of seminars on rural and farm topics. (See seminar schedule on page 00.)
Cooking demonstrations. Ohio Proud will continue conducting the cooking demonstrations.
Two demos will be held each of the show days.
Kiddie tractor pull. Power Show Ohio hosts the National Kiddie Tractor Pull, now in its 18th consecutive year at Power Show Ohio.
The National Kiddie Tractor Pull will be held in the Coliseum during the show Saturday and Sunday.
The pedal tractor pull is open to all children between 3 and 8, and those who have qualified throughout the year to compete for the state and national championships.
The fairgrounds is located at the 17th Avenue exit (Exit 111) of Interstate 71.
