BERLIN CENTER, Ohio — The Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club members will show their animals and participate in the style revue at this year’s Canfield Fair, Aug. 30 to Sept. 4.
Steve and Robin Reph will meet the poultry and rabbit members in Barn 10 at 1 p.m. Aug. 26 to put up decorations.
Large animal members will meet in the swine barn Aug. 27 to decorate the hog and lamb barns.
In other news, the second annual balloon race was held at the August meeting. Richie Hedrick won for the senior team and Cooper Selley won for the junior team.
Members Will Reph, Olivia Reph and Tiffany Voland were selected to serve on the 2017 4-H Royal Court. Club members Camille Kirk, Natalia Kresik and Isabel Schors received “Outstanding of the Day Awards” at the Ohio State Fair.
Members were encouraged to participate in the Rooster Run/Walk at the Canfield Fair Sept. 3, at 8 a.m. Entry day for all animals is Aug. 28-29.
