MONTVILLE, Ohio — The Thompson Ledge Dairymen celebrated 80 years of helping 4-H dairy youth during the club’s most recent meeting. The club celebrated by having new T-shirts made.
The club did very well again this year at the Geauga County Fair, bringing home many ribbons. The club will be holding a dinner later this fall to celebrate.

NEWBURY, Ohio — The Breeders and Feeders 4-H club wrapped up the Geauga County Fair, which was a great success.
The next event is Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 where the club will have a wagon booth that will offer apple cider. Each family is to bring baked goods to sell.
There will also be a game booth.
There is also a parade Oct. 2 at 2:15 p.m. and members can ride on a hay wagon in the parade. This is a mandatory event for all members.
The next meeting is Nov. 6 at Munson Town Hall.

FONTANET, Ind. — Green Leaf Inc., a Fontanet, Indiana manufacturer of agricultural products, Tractor Supply Co. and 4-H Youth Development awarded Erica Shafer, of New Waterford, Ohio, as the Columbiana County winner of the 2016 4-H Bright Futures Award.
Shafer is a member of the Rowdy Wranglers 4-H club.
