GREENSBURG, Pa. – Historic Hanna’s Town, the reconstructed site of the first English court west of the Allegheny Mountains, will open for tours beginning the first weekend in May of this year.
Costumed guides conduct the tours which include the courthouse, tavern, stockade fort and storage building, the Klingensmith House, field museum, original Conestoga wagon and archaeological site.
Tour fees are $3 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
The tour season runs Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays, 1-4 p.m., from Memorial Day through Labor Day (closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
In May, September and October, the site is open weekends only.
Programs for Scouts and school groups are available. Bus tours and adult groups are also welcome.
