Salem Public Library will host a presentation about water on June 6, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. by Dr. Felicia P. Armstrong, Ph.D., QEP of Youngstown State University. An overview of the topic will be provided including information on watersheds, water recovery, how water is treated, preventative measures used to protect our health and lead incidents in community water. Attendees will also learn about water-related activities going on in our area and how to get involved.

The presentation will take place in the library’s Quaker Meeting Room at 821 E. State St., Salem, Ohio 44460. Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for registration assistance. This informative program is open to the public and free of cost to attend.

Dr. Armstrong is Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Environmental Science Graduate Program Director Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Youngstown State University.
