RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Ohio FFA received a $5,735 donation through its participation in the Real Yield Game, sponsored by the LibertyLink soybean system and Bayer. As a top 10 finisher in the Real Yield Game, Ohio FFA organizations will share in a $50,000 contribution.

Twenty-eight state FFA organizations participated in the challenge. The chapters promoted the online Real Yield Game to growers within their states. The more growers playing determined the donation values for their respective states.

The Ohio FFA helped participation with promotional emails, banner ads, social media posts and handouts, in addition to using a kiosk at the Soy Excited event. This outreach enabled them to win the second largest donation.

The Real Yield Game is the first social instant win experience sponsored by LibertyLink. To play, participants simulated spraying soybean fields with Liberty to see the superior control the LibertyLink system provides. In the game, growers competed for instant prizes of LibertyLink seed and a grand prize one-year tractor lease with John Deere. LibertyLink committed a donation to an FFA chapter for each game play. Visit www.bayercropscience.us/products/traits/libertylink for information about the LibertyLink system.
