Salem Public Library, in partnership with Salem Parks and Recreation Department, has planned a fun and challenging wintertime event: a “Cardboard Sled Race.” Individuals, families, clubs, organizations, schools, etc. are invited to enter a do-it-yourself sled. Pick up rules and registration form at Salem Public Library, Salem Memorial Building or online at www.salem.lib.oh.us.

The “Cardboard Sled Race” will take place at Kelley Park on Prospect Street in Salem at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6. The event is free of cost and open to the public.

Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Salem Public Library have planned a year full of events incorporating education, fun and the opportunity enjoy Salem’s beautiful parks and library. We hope you will join in the fun!
