The Jeromesville Lions Club will be holding its annual Sycamore Day. Tractors with hay wagons and military vehicles will take riders from Lewis Memorial Park on South Street in Jeromesville to see the world’s largest sycamore tree. Historical exhibits and indian artifact displays will be located at the tree along with historical re-enactors and music.
Food and tickets for rides to the tree are by donation. Funds are used to support Jeromesville Lions Club programs throughout the community.
The Ashland County Park District will have exhibits at the park’s shelterhouse, Boy Scout Troop 521 will prepare campfire donuts, and the Jeromesville Historical Society museum will be open as well. Folk music performances will be at the park and at the tree.
