The Kelly Miller Circus, in existence since 1938 and one of only a few traveling shows still around, will present its all-new 2015 production on the grounds of Richfield Town Hall, located at 4410 W. Streetsboro Road, on Saturday, July 25, with shows scheduled at 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. “Children” of all ages are invited to see the elephants raise the Big Top on circus morning as well as watch the unloading and feeding of the circus animals. Activities will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the tent being raised at approximately 9:00 a.m. This highly acclaimed “traditional” circus, celebrating its 77th anniversary and sponsored by the Richfield Town Trust, will feature elephants, tigers, camels, llamas, zebras, ponies, dogs, clowns, jugglers, acrobats, aerialists as well as an international cast of circus stars and offers inexpensive, old-fashioned family fun. Attendees will even have the opportunity to ride one of the performing elephants!
Advance circus tickets are $6 for children (ages 2-11) and $12 for adults. Day of the event cost is $8 for children and $16 for adults. Children under 2 are free. Advance tickets are available (cash/checks only — no credit cards) at the following Richfield locations: Countryside Florist (4553 Broadview Road), Richfield Automotive Center (3924 Broadview Road), ScripType Publishing (4300 W. Streetsboro Road, Richfield 44286. Tickets may also be purchased in advance through the circus website at “www.kellymillercircus.com” under “upcoming shows — July 25”. All tickets are general admission and are good for any of the three shows. There is no assigned seating so plan to arrive early to be assured of a seat for your selected performance. Free parking for the general public will be available at the old Richfield School located at 4315 W. Streetsboro Road. Parking for the handicapped, elderly and groups with pre-registered vans will be in the parking lot behind town hall.
