SALEM, Ohio — Gail White Hettrick has joined the staff at Farm and Dairy as digital sales manager.
In this new position, Hettrick will be responsible for online advertising for the newspaper’s website, www.farmanddairy.com, as well as its newer digital products, including its e-newsletter and new blog, www.thesocialsilo.com. Other online products are also in the works.
“We’re excited to have Gail onboard,” said Publisher Scot Darling. “She’s a seasoned veteran in producing online advertising strategies that deliver maximum exposure for the customer.
“Whether it’s a banner ad campaign on our website or a sponsorship on our newly developed blog — The Social Silo — Gail will be solely focused on presenting digital advertising opportunities to a growing customer base.”
Her territory may overlap some of the existing print advertising accounts, but she is not replacing any of the print advertising representatives, nor responsible for print advertising.
“It’s not a job I could’ve had 10 years ago,” Hettrick said of the growth in Farm and Dairy’s online presence.
