Heartland Christian School has announced its 18th Annual Auction, to be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for preview and registration, and the live auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. The auction will take place in the school’s gymnasium, located at 28 Pittsburgh Street in Columbiana. There will be a Live Auction, a Silent Auction, and a Chinese Auction. Auction items available for bid will include vacation packages, theme park, event and attraction tickets, hotel packages, hot air balloon rides, dining certificates, jewelry, furniture, gift cards, gift baskets, a central air conditioning unit, museum and theater passes, and an array of goods and services from local merchants. Auctioneer Jim Kellner will be conducting the live auction. Historically the school’s largest fundraiser, the annual auction raises money for its general fund.
The school will hold a preview day on Friday, March 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Attendees may view auction merchandise and pre-register at this time. The morning of the auction, the Guatemala Missions Team will be holding a fundraising breakfast in the school’s Home Ec room from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to raise money for its upcoming trip. A bake sale and lunch concessions will also be available during the auction.
