Two North Dakota farming brothers face up to 30 years in prison and millions of dollars in fines for crop insurance fraud, reports Valley News Live.

Aaron and Derek Johnson, who farm near Northwood, N.D., were convicted of intentionally poisoning their potato seed during planting, intentionally neglecting or destroying potato crops in the field and intentionally destroying potatoes in storage. The Johnsons did all of this before filing claims for lost potato crop and storage over a period of years.
