Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter flavor Crisco
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Candy corns
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, cream together Crisco and sugar.
- Add vanilla, salt, soda and yolks to bowl.
- Beat with electric mixer.
- Incorporate flours to form dough.
- Form dough into balls, space out on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Working quickly, press candy corns into cookies.
- Cool on baking sheet.
