OBERLIN, Ohio — The Firelands FFA chapter collected change for eight days in class for seven children in need in the community. They collected more than $1,200 in cash, a new portable DVD player, new perfume, books, DVDs, Fligner’s giftcards, clothing, purses, and fresh Florida citrus for the children.
On Dec. 16, about 25 students went shopping for gifts for the children. On Dec. 17, the FFA members wrapped the gifts and gave them to the guidance counselors to deliver in time for Christmas.
