LISBON, Ohio –The Rambunctious Rabbit Raisers 4-H club met Jan. 11 at St. Jacobs Church with 13 members present.
A health report was given by Hannah Foster on barn sanitation and washing your hands and a safety report was given by Arial Smith on animal safety regarding frozen water.
4-H Awareness Week was discussed and committee formed (consisting of Emily Clowe, Ariel Smith, Aurora Smith, Hannah Foster, Austin Caylor, Brock Kelm, Quinton Caylor and Rob Risinger) to design a window at Kreative Photography.
A meeting for this will be held from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 23 at Kreative Photography. The Kelm family volunteered one of their rabbits for the display.
The club discussed possible fundraisers and decided to have a bake sale before Easter (possibly March 27 or April 2) and various locations will be contacted.
All members should bring a Christmas item with them to the next meeting to go in the basket for the fair.
The members voted on group photographers including Ariel Smith, Emily Clowe and Taylor Kelm.
A booth committee was established consisting of Arial Smith, Aurora Smith, Auston Caylor and adult volunteer Heather Kelm. Mrs. Kelm discussed her ideas for the booth with the group and asked that all members try to come up with ideas of their own as well.
Connie Higbee discussed project books with the members and that they needed to get started on them.
The group discussed various service projects to participate in. All items discussed with be researched and confirmed at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at St. Jacobs Church.
CECIL, Pa. –The Cecil 4-H recently completed a community service project with Meadowcroft Museum.
The 4-H members sewed two 1890’s American flags. All members participated in the project and helped cut the fabric, pinned and sewed the pieces together or paint the gold stars on to each flag.
One flag will be flown at the school house in Meadowcroft Village and the other flag will be used in the new Visitors Center once renovations are completed.
SALEM, Ohio — Goshen Good Growers 4-H club will hold an open house from 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Jan. 27 at Bunker Hill Church on Middletown Road.

ORWELL, Ohio — The Mustang Wranglers 4-H horse club met Jan., 16 at Saddles Etc. & Gift Shop.
The club held a Christmas party on Dec. 12 and enjoyed horse-related demonstrations. The club is looking forward to participating in activities, fundraisers and countywide service projects.
The next meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at Saddles Etc.
BELOIT, Ohio — At the January meeting of Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club, new members were welcomes, and also members were reminded the livestock members about the mandatory quality assurance workshop at West Branch High School beginning at 8:30 a.m. March 6.
Members were also reminded the deadline to sign up for the Feb. 20 Ohio 4-H Teen Conference in Columbus is Feb. 5.
Levi Smith stated that the County Poultry Club will meet Feb. 9 at MetroParks Farm in Canfield at 7 p.m.
The Junior Leader Club meets again Feb. 4 at the OS. Extension Center in Canfield at 7 p.m. Health Leader Richie Hedrick advised us how to avoid the flu and colds virus this winter.
Adviser Robin Adams welcomed the new members interested in the “Shooting Sports 4-H Projects” and announced that their first shooting meeting will be at the Lake Milton Fish and Game Club Feb. 16.
Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club invites all youth who are 8 and in the third grade through 18 to come to their Feb. 11 meeting at the Ellsworth Fire Hall at 7 p.m. to learn more about 4-H.

Cloverbud 4-H members are in kindergarten through the second grade and complete their 4-H activities in a group setting.
