I was out doing chores. It was Christmas Eve. I did all my chores but I forgot one. This chore that I forgot led to a nice, hilarious Christmas-haying the cows.
I went inside and got ready for bed, wondering what would be under the tree tomorrow. I was so anxious I played Runescape, an online game I play, for a half an hour! I had enough time for the Christmas event and that was it. I went to bed.
I woke up in the morning, flying out of bed and waking everyone up so we can go to church. We got ready for church and went. Our family always has seats saved for us. Church felt like forever, but there was a reward when we got home… PRESENTS!
We opened our presents. Then we played with them. Then went to bed at nighttime. Our Grandmas has Christmas a day after us. I couldn’t wait!
The next day we went to Grandma’s. All of our family was there! I opened my presents. My grandma always gets what I want as long as its not too expensive.
But then the weirdest thing happened, ALL the cows got out! They were stampeding towards the house. I went outside to find out if something scared them. But then it hit me, I didn’t hay them! I called Crystal, our cow that listens to us, and told her I’d hay her if she took me to the barn and jumped on her back and went on my way to hay the cows.
When Crystal got to the barn, the sun was in the middle of the sky. I grabbed the knife, went into the loft and hayed them. Crystal took me back to Grandma’s house and ran back to the barn. That’s when I learned this: Always hay the cows.
